The Challenge of Inter-Disciplinary Perspectives and Globalization in the 21st Century

The internationalisation or globalisation of business has emerged as one of the dominant trends today.  The ever-increasing economic, political, social and cultural changes occurring in the international and global environment is dramatically altering the landscape of business.  These changes are affecting the practice of business worldwide which means that businesses must constantly remain innovative and take an integrative view of management that emphasizes the interrelatedness and interdependency of the various business functions.

The Academy of World Business, Marketing and Management Development (AWBMAMD) aims to share research knowledge that exists around the world in the areas of business, marketing and management through AWBMAMD conferences and publications.  Manuscripts are invited in terms of competitive papers, case studies, research in progress, special sessions and doctoral research papers in any of the 42 track areas which include marketing, management, finance, accounting, human resource management, organizational behaviour, information systems and technology, foreign direct investment, e-business, e-commerce, e-marketing, economics, tourism, entrepreneurship, business law, international law, leadership style, culture, privatisation, etc.
